Rob Starting the day off on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes catching some quality bass. These bass were very scrappy fighters. We caught most of our bass on spinnerbaits, Strike King Shim E Sticks and Zoom Speed Craws. Working in and around the grass beds was the big key to catching the bass out here on a consistant basis.

The area we were fishing was in Friars Cove, this time of year it had some patchy areas of hydrilla that the bass were relating to heavily. All the guys had to do was pitch the live shiners to the edges and the bass would hammer them!

Live bait is a sure fire way to get a youngster hooked on bass fishing, and the wild shiners we have here are the best quality you can get. Although wild shiners are one of the best bass baits for this time of year, you can still catch the bass no problem with a wide range of artificial lures. Spinner Baits, Strike King Red Eye Shads, buzz baits and the typical seven and ten inch worms will yield some quality bass, not only on lake toho, but Butler Chain, Conway Chain and East Lake Toho as well.

December is always a great month for bass fishing in Florida. Cooler temperatures have rolled into Central Florida and sparked the bass to bite our offerings.
