Lake Toho Bass Fishing and Kissimmee Chain of Lakes

Folks, we have been having a blast with bass fishing. Waters are cooling down and the bass have been biting. Exciting part is they have been hammering our soft plastics and lipless crankbaits. Today the wind was up some, which spooked off our top water action, or did it? No sir, we worked senko type baits across the top of lily pads and had more than our share of bass explode on our baits.
We worked everything from a buzz bait, which only got blown up on once and missed, to senko type baits, lizards and flukes and mixed in a red eye shad. Had a few areas where we knew were holding bass so I deployed the new anchor system from Dig In Anchors to hold us in place and yes we caught a few in each area we worked.
Drift patterns that have been working for the past few weeks are still holding strong. Slow drift thru and over grass beds and hydrilla have been producing some great bass fishing action on the chain of lakes, Last weeks 10.14 pounder is still holding strong for big bass of this month and the guys have been catching several solid bass in the 4 to 6 pound class. More stained waters the junebug has been the hot ticket and areas with cleaner water we have just been hammering bass on the watermelon Red.
We are seeing more and more action on the surface as of late with these cooler mornings, only thing that kept the top water action off today was the higher winds. No one was complaining though, with 14 bass making it over the side of the boat to make it a very good day on the water.
MINNETONKA, Minnesota – Bass anglers rejoiced when Rapala revolutionized the way they fished, thanks to the Dives-To-series of crankbaits. And now, they’ve done it again by translating the same dives-to-a-depth concept, technology and performance to trolling applications with the TT or Trolls-To™ Series.
XCalibur’s XRK One Knocker series of lipless crankbaits is complete with the addition of the new XRK25, the smallest of the family of unique-sounding lures. The One Knocker’s single tungsten-lead ball bearing rattle is the difference. When every angler on the lake is throwing multi-rattle baits, the unique sound of the One Knocker continues to fool wary bass.
Fisherbabe already has picked out a fluffy winter hat to keep her ears warm during those chilly fishing trips.
