This is Captain Steve Niemoeller with your Friday April 10th, 2015 fishing report for Lake Toho.
I guided Ken and his brother-in-law Bob from Central Florida out in Lake Toho on an 8-hour trip. Weather was great today, started a little warmer than what it usually gets this time of the year…it was pretty nice though! We started throwing shiners and had a little bit of success for most of the day, we caught 8-10 bass on the 5-pound range. The last hour, we decided to go anchor fishing. We pulled up, anchored and caught them on the lines…we caught another 7-8 fish doing that. Nothing really big, 3-4 pounds. We had originally scheduled a crappie trip… but crappies have not been biting lately, we decided to go bass fishing instead. I recommend to go to St.Johns if you want to go crappie fishing.
