Hello! How is everyone doing? This is Captain Brian Brown with your March 26th Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
Today we went out of Slims Fish Camp in Belle Glades. We had a group trip with two boats, I went out with Steve and Joanne in my boat and Larry with David and Dina in the other one. We had a great day on the water, the weather was perfect… it was warm but we had enough breeze to keep us cool. We used 5 dozen shiners in the morning. We had a good day, we went through the first dozen really quick! Bass action! We caught a lot of 4-pounders, we were out of shiners by 10 a.m….we decided to look for gators instead. We spotted 4 or 5 gators and they took pictures of them, beautiful sightseeing. With an hour left, we caught a couple more..no giants today, but numbers were awesome! Overall great trip, total of 30 fish.
