Doubling Down on Lake Okeechobee
Hello, This is Captain Jason Young with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report. Today I fished on the North end of Lake Okeechobee with Steven and Eigine from Texas and Eigine just got out of the army. So before he went back home Eigine’s Dad wanted to stop on Lake Okeechobee and do some Largemouth Bass fishing. We started the morning fishing Bass Assassin Die Dapper on the weed lines. We caught up to 10 to 15 Largemouth Bass on the Die Dapper first thing this morning. After that the bite started to slow down a little bit, and we had to transition into a more finesse tactic with Finesse Worms deeper in the grass. The only double other day came when Steve managed to catch a Shad and a Largemouth Bass on the same cast. We had a great time the weather was actually quite nice. It was forecasted to rain all day, but we had a few sprinkles in the morning and a lot of wind out of the East, but other than that we just had overcast skies rest of the day, and it made for a very comfortable day. We had a good time out on Lake Okeechobee, so until next time this is Captain Jason Young , wishing you tight lines.
